UNIT PLANNING

I incorporate multiple layers of learning into my units of learning from the classroom to empower students to stretch beyond their current thinking and explore new concepts, techniques, and media. These sample units of learning demonstrate my desire to bring interesting and engaging subject matter into the classroom to assist learners to engage creatively with the world around them and become emphatic and expressive individuals. Each project is infused with visual culture, critical skills, the elements of art and principles of design, visual literacy and the use of both traditional and contemporary media to support learners to achieve artistic growth.
